Welcome To Mountnessing Village Hall
About the Hall
Mountnessing Village Hall is situated alongside the playing fields adjacent to the windmill and welcomes users to its country setting. The Hall opens onto the Millennium Patio Garden complete

The Hall comprises an entrance foyer, hall 60' by 30', a large kitchen, toilets and storage area. There is a small stage area.
The Hall will accommodate 150 people for a seated event or up to
200 people for a disco/dance. There are 12 round tables seating up
to 10 people and 120 banqueting chairs. There are also 50 plastic
stacking chairs and 12 tables, size 72 x 30" (184 x 76 cm) and 24
size 36 x 30 (92 x 76 cm). The Hall shares the public car park.

Important Notes - Types of Bookings permitted
The Hall is not licensed for the sale of alcohol but the
hirer is able to apply for a Temporary Events Notice to allow the
Hirer to offer such a service for their event attendees. Such
licenses are limited to 12 per annum. Certain criteria must be met
to obtain the approval of the Mountnessing Village Hall Committee,
and an additional charge is also payable for such a licence to the
Council. If a publican is engaged to supply and run a bar then he
/ she would normally be happy to apply for a license on the
hirer's behalf. For further information and an application form,
visit Brentwood Borough Council's TENS licensing
